The Company
A instantly recognizable international leader within the consumer market space is currently looking to secure the services of a skilled Demand & Supply Analyst. This newly created role is an integral part of the Supply Chain Team with reporting lines to the Supply Planning Manager and strong exposure to the Regional Operations Director.

The Role
Working closely with key stakeholders, the Supply/Demand Analyst will drive an integrated review of demand forecasts to ensure that product supply is in line with business requirements, establishing material requirements to support forecasts and control inventory levels of finished goods. To achieve this your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of past forecast accuracy and collaboratively reviewing future forecasts
  • Partner the S&M teams to Compile & evaluate sales information
  • Analyse and report on future impact of forecast / supply issues
  • Liaise with local and international suppliers to ensure SLA's and Production Plan
  • Monitor and control all inventory levels to ensure sufficient materials and maintain accuracy of inventory balance files.
  • Analyse and conduct cost modelling to ensure operational targets are being met
  • Development of SOP for supply function
  • Develop piece forecasts for customer exclusive programs and new product launches
  • Work with S&M to effectively manage supply and demand issues
  • Perform root cause analysis on SLOB and Out of stock items
  • Responsible for improving Supply and demand planning processes and procedures
  • Maintenance of processes and data-bases

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with the above listed responsibilities
  • A Degree in Business, Logistics or Economics
  • Sound knowledge of inventory control techniques and logistics principals
  • Experience in a FMCG or Consumer goods company ideally with a high SKU count
  • Experience using SAP and Manugistics systems along with strong Excel Skills
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills
