My client, a leading medical company based in Sydney's CBD is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the small, but dynamic team. Ideally located walking distance from the train station.
Full function payroll for ±400 employees (weekly, fortnightly and monthly)
Complete month end and year end payroll functions.
Accurate data entry of payroll related records and adjustments.
Point of contact for staff on all payroll related issues.
Providing timely payroll reports to business units.
Managing all workman's compensation and associated activities.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
As this is a fast paced and ever-changing business environment, you will be an experienced payroll officer who has worked in a standalone role for 3 - 5 years
Preferably New Zealand payroll experience
Experience working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards
Minimum of 2 years' Australian payroll experience (end to end payroll processing)
Knowledge of superannuation, taxation and other statutory obligations are essential
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to manage a range of concurrent tasks with conflicting deadlines
Excellent written and spoken English.
