Our client provides innovative and market-leading products and systems in the construction industry. You will work closely with a cross-functional team including research, manufacturing, sales and marketing. This group will include a variety of both regional and international stakeholders.

The primary purpose of this position is leading and driving the development of innovative, cutting-edge machine and system concepts. As a Senior Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer, you will be responsible for design (Inventor) and engineering projects incorporating leading technologies and processes. You will be a self-starter and an individual that is motivated and driven by results,

Responsibilities

  • Management of project timelines, design, budgets, resources and associated reporting
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment, associated trouble shooting
  • Develop and implement experimental plans and validation of equipment performance
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

You will be passionate about projects and driving results, be innovative in thinking and be able to work across business functions, whilst managing several projects simultaneously.


As a degree qualified mechanical or mechatronic engineer with a minimum of eight years' experience, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery, possess strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Having had previous experience within fast paced environments and industries such as building products, paper, steel or related heavy industries will be highly regarded.
