As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be proactive in approach and someone that is strategic and driven. You will be someone that is able to build relationships within the plant and influence outcomes leading to measurable improvements in plant performance and efficiencies.
Responsibilities of the role will incorporate the following;
- Identify production process improvements and develop and implement improvement plans such that process inefficiencies are minimised
- Ensure accurate data analysis and reporting systems are made available to stakeholders.
- Identify efficiency improvements where investment is required and prepare proposals for approval and implementation to achieve efficiency gains and capacity improvements.
- Revise, implement and monitor operating standards and procedures
You will be a degree qualified mechanical engineer with a minimum of five years experience within a similar function in a fast paced manufacturing environment such as paper, steel, building products or someone that is wanting a change out of similar industry sectors. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to drive plant improvements through engagement and your analytical capabilities, utilising lean tools and implementing continuous improvement programs.
