Operations & Maintenance Manager

A global market leader for value-added logistic process automation, primarily in airports, parcels and warehousing solutions, the business focuses on the optimisation of their customers processes and systems.

As the Operations and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a critical contract. The role will incorporate two main areas of focus, your team and the client. You will lead a team of skilled technicians ensuring the reliable running of the automated baggage handling equipment in a fast paced environment; initiating process improvements and measurable improvements in equipment and people performance. You will be interacting and have consistent contact with the client, giving them confidence in what you and your team are delivering from a maintenance, reliability and quality perspective.

To be successful in the role, you will be technically strong and have relevant O&M experience. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in the delivery of maintenance and reliability programs in fast paced environments incorporating materials handling equipment and associated processes. This will be supported by your strong communication skills, both verbal and written. As the lead on site, you will have daily communication with the client, therefore being a results oriented and driven leader will be critical.

An electrical and automation engineering background is favoured, supported by previous experience in leading teams for a minimum of five years in similar roles.
