With a rich history, this multinational corporation specialises in managing complex assets and infrastructure which allow their customers to improve their own performance whilst reducing costs.

As the National Technical Manager - Asset Management, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the national asset management team providing a strategic approach to the acquisition and sustainment of related equipment for the client across multiple sites nationally.

The role will be responsible for asset management, capital spend, engineering advice and commercial and contractual management.

Providing leadership, direction and inspirational management to all team members (approximately 25 people) and ensuring a high-quality solution is delivered which meets customer expectations with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction and fosters continuous improvement will be imperative to your success.

You will be comfortable in a client facing function. The role is based in the client's head office with daily interactions and communication expected, therefore a collaborative and consulting approach will be required.

Having had significant asset/fleet management experience in either commercial or defence maintenance industries, supported by tertiary qualifications in engineering or a technical discipline will be highly regarded. Also, being able to demonstrate relevant experience in the oversight of large programs and dispersed work forces is favourable.
