About the Client and Role
Our client, a national leader within the maintenance sector, is looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst to start work on an exciting and challenging undertaking in their Waterloo offices. The role requires a talented individual who is able to make an immediate impact in this initial 3 month contract to review and analyse our client's databases with a view to propose a strategic solution for consolidation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a strategic review of the current workforce management systems
- Compose a insights analysis with an outlined scope for improvement and upgrade recommendations
- Propose a solution to synthesise multiple internal database systems into a consolidated platform structure
- Interrogate current data to provide an overview of the current status of the overall system architecture
- Conduct mapping of existing and future system workflows
- Engage in cross-functional liaison and stakeholder management
Requirements
- Practiced Business Analyst with a strategic focus on solution recommendations
- Strong understanding of solution architecture and design
- Experienced in conducting system reviews and impact analyses, and in mapping workflows
- Solid RDBMS familiarity, with experience in SQL Server
- Comfortable with proposing solutions for structural database upgrades and consolidation
- Understanding of the data migration process
- Solid stakeholder management experience with a view to engage in cross-functional liaison
- Strong communicator, both written and verbally
