As one of Australia's largest heavy industrial manufacturers, this business employs over 5000 people around the country supplying products into a range of industry sectors including building construction, roads and rail projects and significant infrastructure.

As the Maintenance Superintendent/Manager, you will have responsibility for approximately 40 people within your team, ensuring plant reliability and minimising downtime across operations. Your strong communication skills and proven ability to lead large maintenance teams in heavy manufacturing environments will provide you the platform to develop a culture of accountability.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will be able to implement measurable improvements across the function. Your core areas of responsibility can be broken down into five main areas;

  • Capital

A degree qualified engineer, you will have a minimum of ten years' experience managing teams in excess of thirty people in heavy manufacturing environments such as paper, steel, building products or similar. Your drive and technical problem-solving skills will lead your team towards improving overall plant availability and minimising breakdowns, developing a maintenance culture of preventative maintenance and a team striving to continuously improve.
