The Company
My client is a multinational manufacturer of consumer products with a standout brand across the entire globe. Due to continuous growth and desire for perfection they are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee the day to day logistics operations in their Western Sydney located distribution site, reporting directly to the Site Manager. The company has a global footprint and an internal culture that is envied by its competitors, with a view to promote and reward hard work and dedication.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
  • The primary function of this role will be to coordinate all areas of warehouse operations, ensuring that work flow is accurately recorded in the ERP System;
  • Compilation of daily run sheets, confirmation of pick slips, fulfilling back orders, processing credits for drum returns as well as inventory control through cycle counting.
  • Compiling Back order reports, negative stock reports and stock level adjustments.
  • Receipt Purchase Orders, create and receipt Manufacturing and Distribution Orders.
  • You will liaise with the Head Office Purchasing, Warehouse and Sales Coordination areas to coordinate procurement, import schedules, inventory control, customer accounts and sales order queries.
Your Background
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience within Dangerous Goods distribution a must
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines
  • Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to solve unexpected problems and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively;
  • Experience with known systems/ERP's and strong excel skills
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationship management skills and experience;
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a high level of initiative
