Your new role
The Payroll Officer works closely with the Principal Payroll Officer to takes charge of end-to-end payroll operations for 500+ NSW based staff.
In this busy, hands-on role your day-to-day duties will include;
- End-to-end payroll processing and preparation
- Monthly payroll reconciliations
- Handling pay related queries
- Interpreting EBAs, penalty rates and salary conditions to staff and managers
- Taking ownership of the payroll function including special projects and system upgrades
- Master data maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to demonstrate 1-3 years' recent experience working in Payroll within a complex setting. This opportunity is also open to Junior Payroll Officers as there is full systems and industry specific training available. You will already possess permanent Australian residency and work rights.
