This major CBD based ASX listed corporation is one of the largest within its space. Your will be working with an inspiring Financial Controller who is passionate about hiring, mentoring and promoting the best and brightest talent in Sydney.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this fast-paced, pivotal role, you will be a hands-on Management Accountant specializing in providing detailed analysis, cost saving and revenue maximization recommendations for a portfolio of sites.
You will skilled at collaborating with a transactional team and business partnering with on-site General Managers to driving budget processes and both financial and non-financial innovation.
This role seeks a fully or partly qualified CA / CPA Accountant who has worked hard to achieve a track record of rapid promotion and who seeks that next step into a purely analytical role. Your duties will involve;
* Budget forecasting and analysis to P&L level
* Extracting and analyzing data and identifying cost drivers
* Intelligent questioning of underlying assumptions
* Customizing high quality and succinct management reports and commentary
* Multilateral thinking and abiit
* Cross functional business partnering
* Engaging stakeholders in a warm and engaging manner.
You will be an independent, positive and strongly focused solution seeker. You will enjoy initiating strong coordination between the finance and operational sites, consistently in an upbeat. emotionally intelligent and culturally aware manner.
This role will require very advanced Excel skills and a strong ability to efficiently navigate a mid-tier Accounting Package. Technology One and Cognos TM1 experience would be highly regarded.
Australian permanent residence and 2-3 years' Australian local experience is essential for this role.
