My client is a market leader in the FMCG manufacturing industry based throughout Australia. They are looking for a HR Manager that aligns business objectives with organizational and talent needs. Reporting to the GM, you will need to provide strategic support to business unit managers and employees. This highly recognized and reputable organisation is seeking a candidate to join their collaborative team based in the Blacktown area.
Delivering value to the business by providing a wide range of transactional and strategic HR services to the manufacturing plant.
This is a hands-on role with the ability to work autonomously in a standalone capacity
Conduct workplace investigations, mediation and consulting with trade unions
Initiate, recommend and implement strategic HR policies and procedures
Workforce planning, talent attraction and retention
Training and development with succession planning in mind
5 - 8 years HR Management experience in a manufacturing environment,
At least 3 - 5 years' experience in an Australian unionised environment dealing with employee / industrial relations and enterprise agreements
Qualification in HR or related field preferable
Experience working in a blue-collar industry and a comprehensive knowledge of the Australian labour legislation and Fair Work Act
Capability to plan effectively, prioritise and to deliver in a timely and efficient manner
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
