A challenging and exciting role has become available for a HR Business Partner for a leading manufacturing company based in the Parramatta area. This highly recognized and reputable organisation is seeking a candidate to join their collaborative team with a seat at the table, where the objective of the HR department is to ensure a continual high level of quality service.
Delivering value to the business by providing a wide range of transactional and strategic HR services to the manufacturing plant.
This is a hands on role with the ability to work autonomously in a standalone capacity Workplace investigations, mediation and consulting with trade unions
Conduct weekly safety checks with line management
Initiate, recommend and implement various HR Projects
Workforce & succession planning, talent attraction and retention
5 - 8 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment,
At least 3 - 5 years' experience in an Australian unionised environment dealing with employee / industrial relations and enterprise agreements
Qualification in HR or related field preferable
Experience working in a blue collar industry and a comprehensive knowledge of the Australian labour legislation and Fair Work Act
Experience in designing and effectively executing HR initiates
Capability to plan effectively, prioritise and to deliver in a timely and efficient manner
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
Ability to think strategically and to execute tactically
Have a valid driver's licence and car
