The Company
My client is a major international leader within their specialized manufacturing products space. Through recently implemented business optimisation measures, the opportunity for a commercially savvy ANZ Financial Controller has arisen within their Sydney based Head Office. The Role
Reporting off shore, the main objective of the role will be to provide financial information and support the business unit management team and key business and functional leaders, in detail you will:

  • Own the ANZ P&L
  • Provide financial support to the local GM and stakeholders
  • Translate the strategy into appropriate financial targets
  • Analysis of financial performance versus plan/forecast
  • Actively participate and support in local and global strategic planning
  • Build business models, evaluate cost structures and create decision support analyses
  • Support potential future M&A projects
  • Prepare financial presentations and provide various ad hoc analysis for the management team

Your background and experience

  • Exposure to above listed responsibilities ideally gained in an engineering/manufacturing company.
  • Tertiary educated with CA/CPA/MBA qualification
  • Possess strong financial acumen and an understanding of business drivers and issues
  • Strong strategic and quantitative analysis skills
  • Ability to establish financial practices to support business growth
  • Experience building, reviewing and presenting financial models, budgets and plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound leadership skills and confident in working with C-level staff
  • Ambitious and highly motivated
