This Aged Care Provider runs a portfolio of retirement living and continuum care solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this fast-paced, pivotal role, you will be a hands-on Aged Care Accountant with experience.
You will already possess solid financial Accounting experience, preferably within the Aged Care, Retirement Living or Community Services Sector.
Your duties will involve the timely and accurate completion of;
* Month end processing
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Fixed Asset Register maintenance
* Bank reconciliations, FBT and BAS
* Analysis of the monthly results
* Assist with Year-End Audit and Statutory Reporting
* Assist with the preparation of acquittals
* General Ledger reconciliation and maintenance
* Any adhoc accounting duties as directed
Your communication skills will be very import in this hire as you will be clearly across the business, consistently in an upbeat. emotionally intelligent and culturally aware manner.
You will hold yourself to the highest standards having already finished a degree and have fully completed/or nearly completed your CA or CPA qualification. This role will require advanced Excel skills and a strong ability to efficiently navigate a mid-tier Accounting Package (preferably Epicor) and other computer systems.
