Having launched into the ANZ region recently, this position represents the organisations intention to establish a robust service function.

POSITION

Service Technician NZ (based in Waikato or Auckland)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the ANZ Country Manager you will act as the primary support contact for the company's customers for Technical Services. This will entail the following responsibilities:

  • Installation, start up and commissioning of new filling lines, including initial and ongoing customer staff training
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance on filling lines according to the service system
  • Deliver additional training of customer staff
  • Other work tasks related to the job such as field test, optimization and/or similar
  • Willingness to participate as technical advisor in customer sales presentations as required
  • Report accurate and detailed information on issues in the field
  • Support clients in Australia and surrounding South East Asian countries as needed
  • Other possible countries worldwide for ongoing training, support to the global service network
  • Repair and Breakdown Service of packaging tools and equipment
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of knowledge in our filling lines operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Prompt action in case of failure or malfunction, ensuring the effectiveness of the maintenance, reducing down time

MUST HAVE

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical and/or automation
  • Extensive experience servicing liquid food equipment (chilled & ambient), filling line technology
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Strong Face to Face customer services skills
  • Detailed service records and follow up
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage and operate autonomously
  • Work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Problem solving and fault finding skills
