Your new company and role
This Aged Care Provider runs a small operation in Sydney's Inner-West and is looking for an immediately available Part-time Company Accountant to manage their financial operations for 32 hours per week.
The Company Accountant role is fully responsible for the accounts of 1 Residential facility. You will be liaising extensively with a multi-disciplinary team and the General Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this fast-paced, pivotal role, you will be a hands-on Accountant or Finance Manager with experience across all transactional and reporting functions.
You will already possess solid financial Planning, Analysis and cross-functional business partnering experience, preferably within the Aged Care, Retirement Living or Community Services Sector.
Your duties will involve the timely and accurate completion of;
* Statutory Lodgments and Regulatory Compliance
* Oversight of outsourced Billings and Payroll functions
* Banking, Month-end Closings and Reporting
* Budgeting, Quarterly BAS, Benchmark Reporting
* Check and reconcile Medicare, Bond, RAD, DAP and DAP
* Payroll accounting
* Accounts Payable
You will hold yourself to the highest standards having already finished a degree and have ideally completed/or nearly completed your CA or CPA qualification. This role will require advanced Excel skills and a strong ability to efficiently navigate MYOB Accounting Package and other computer systems.
