POSITION
Community Relations Manager - Temp to Perm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Devise proactive strategies to to prevent complaints and minimise negative impact of these complaints
- Report on stakeholder management and consultation
- Address community issues and work with stakeholders on a consultative basis
- Assist with planning at a site level involving community representatives
- Assist with the formulation of internal communication, newsletter input and other internal correspondence
- Face to face consultation with community stakeholders around infrastructure and transport projects
- Arrange site specific information sessions, site visits and local inductions in relation to community and stakeholder issues
- Manage complaints and complete associated reports as required
- Work with external contractors from an issues, communications and stakeholder perspective
- Update management on all consultation activities
KEY SKILLS
- 3 - 5 years fulfilling a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a relevant field
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working within the construction, engineering and/or infrastructure sectors
