Tackle a range of technologies from scaled, cloud based architectures to low level, resource constrained environments, UI to kernel level coding, software porting to new product development - all with a strong digital networking component.

Essential:

  • Strong C / C++ and OO design skills
  • Developing PC applications on Windows or macOS
  • Linux user space development
  • Some IP networking experience (sockets, TCP/IP, network APIs, protocol stacks)
  • Multithreading, real-time systems
  • Agile, modern version control tools (e.g. Mercurial, Git)
  • A computer science degree
  • Talent, initiative, creativity

Optional:

  • Linux internals
  • Python
  • x-platform development
  • Android, iOS, embedded dev.
  • Experience with installers and software packaging tools
