BDM/Account Manager Victoria

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in a multi-channel business environment, you will be given all the support required to achieve success in this role. This includes an autonomous work environment, inspiring leadership team, premium product solutions (ISO standards inc.), and a portfolio of established clients. Although there is an account management focus in this role, we are seeking a seasoned Sales Professional with a strong capability to develop new business opportunities. Utilising your industry experience, strong technical understanding and relationship management ability - you will take a consultative and strategic approach to growing revenue. This will encompass attending industry events, and consulting to prospective clients around how best to automate production.

KEY CRITERIA

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will possess extensive sales experience within the valve industry. Your technical knowledge is strong while your background in achieving growth, revenue and margin objectives is impressive. By nature you enjoy working in an environment that is autonomous, supportive and passionate. Although the solutions include valves, and actuators - the nature of client interaction is very much consultative and technical. Focusing on reliability, automation and energy demand - you will engage with Engineers, Site Managers and Plant Managers.

You will possess 3 - 5 years minimum experience selling similar solutions, a strong track record of developing new business opportunities and be culturally aligned (dynamic, energetic, driven and passionate).
