Reporting to the Performance Manager ANZ, as the Automation engineer, your role will be varied and challenging. With multiple sites around Australia and New Zealand, your role will be a mix of programming, projects and site commissioning. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the existing PLC code and SCADA interface to control plant processes.

You will need relevant experience in the following;

  • PLC's - Schneider (M340 and M580)
  • SCADA networks - Citect and Cimplicity (training to be given)
  • Proven knowledge of industrial ethernet, Modbus, Profibus and OPC servers
  • Site commissioning

As a degree qualified engineer (electrical/automation/mechatronics/computer science), with a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, you will have strong organisational skills, supported by the ability to communicate across business functions. You will be an individual that enjoys solving problems and working towards implementing long term solutions.

The role will incorporate travel both locally and overseas for project requirements.
