Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will be an outstanding Collections Officer with a solid track record of independently managing a mixed ledger of B2B debt and providing analytical support.
- Reviewing the aged debtors reports and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Processing debtor cheques, EFT and credit card payments
- Providing customized or consolidated customer billing reports
- Investigating discrepancies
- Issuing refunds where necessary
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this fast-paced, pivotal role, you will already possess solid experience in Accounts Receivable and high volume Collections, preferably from a commercial B2B setting.
You will able to eloquently communicate customer solutions in a logical and concise manner.
You will have excellent attention to detail, proven negotiation strategies as well as prior experience working within a complex setting to tight deadlines. You will pride yourself on positively influencing all stakeholders, communicating, consistently in an emotionally intelligent and culturally aware manner.
You will possess solid Excel skills and strong ability to efficiently navigate mid-tier computer systems such as MS Dynamics AX, SAP, Great Plains, Navision).
What you'll get in return
This is a 6 month fixed term contract role that pays between $62K plus superannuation. Opportunities for extension or permanency may be available depending on performance and operational needs. It is a fantastic opportunity for commercially minded specialist to work in a team based Accounts Receivable setting. This role is based in the Wetherill Park area and is close to T-Way links.
